Recorded this on march 9th, '09 in my room with my mini-dvd camera's microphone. I don't know the quality because i didn't listen before uploading, but it should be sufficient.
Brown noise heavily filtered and pitched down (not very much happening above 400 hz). Simple chorus/reverb added. Made using adobe audition (previously known as cool edit).
Testing the sennheiser mke 2002 binaural microphones (circa 1973), playing bongos resting on my lap. The microphones are designed to be mounted either on a dummy head or - as i use them here - a user's own ears. Binaural recordings require headphones for full effect.
Heavy wind blowing in eelgrass near water on a summer day. Recorded in m/s with a schoeps cmit and cmc6 w/ mk8 capsule on a sound devices 633. Decoded to l/r stereo.
Sample 1 of a few horror-type sound effects i mixed together for something i. . . Don't particularly recall at the moment. Horribly generic, i know, but hey, there's got to be a variation.
Electrical sewing machine branded "victoria". You can hear the overload of the electrical motor driving themachine as the pedal is pushed before start. Recorded through the internal stereo mike of a sony ex1 camera.

Plastic bag being put on pair of microphones. It makes impression of bag being put on listener's head when listened on earphones (so called binaural recording). If you use this sound in your recording, i'll be glad to hear it :)ratings and/or comment are also highy appreciated :).
A set of tones to help determine left and right outputs in a system. Set in a loop, this is useful for checking out stereo playback and headphone systems.
